Treat yourself and buy a local gin, the gins offer is superb, each with its own unique flavor. A classic revisited. Lots of other recipes to discover in his book L’Apéro au Québec.
Ingredients:
- 45 ml (1.5 oz.) Gin of your choice
15 ml (0.5 oz.) Pure cranberry juice
1642 tonic
Ice cubes
Lime slice
Rosemary twig (optional)
Preparation:
Pour the gin, cranberry juice and tonic 1642 into a glass filled with ice cubes.
Mix with a spoon. Garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of rosemary, if desired.
Honey & Ginger Cocktail By Bleu Royal
Did you know that gin was used, when it was discovered, for its medicinal properties? Mixed with honey and ginger, this is a perfect cocktail for cold season, right?
INGREDIENTS
1.5 oz Royal Blue Gin
2 tbsp. honey syrup (To create this, combine equal parts hot (not boiling) water and honey.)
2 lemon slices
Ginger Beer 1642
Crystallized ginger for garnish
RECIPE:
Add some ice cream to a glass, then the lemon slices and fill the rest of the glass with ice. Then add the gin and the honey syrup, then the ginger beer. Stir with a spoon and garnish with crystallized ginger. Drop into the cocktail for a sweet touch. Health!
